Talking about the price, interested customers will be able to buy Samsung Galaxy A8+ (2018) from January 20 for Rs 32,990. This will be exclusively on e-commerce site Amazon.in. On the basis of many features and aggressive prices, this Samsung smartphone will challenge OnePlus 5T, Nokia 8 and the recently launched Honor View 10. During the launch event we spent some time with Galaxy A8+ (2018). At first glance, how did we like this handset? Let’s tell.
Initially we will tell you about the design of Samsung Galaxy A8+ (2018). This phone will remind you of Galaxy S8 and Galaxy Note 8. The reason is curved glass, glass backpanel and infinity displays. The thickness of this device is 8.3 millimeters. The width of the handset is 75.7 millimeters and length 159.9 millimeters. The body of the phone is very compact. Despite having a 6 -inch display, there is no problem in holding the phone in the hands. Weight is 191 grams, if seen, it is more weight than Galaxy S8 Plus.
Samsung Galaxy A8+ has a 6.0-inch supermolede full-HD display. Its resolution is 1080×2220 pixels and the aspect ratio is 18.5: 9. Like Samsung’s existing flagship device, the screen of this phone is also vibrant and sufficiently bright. The viewing angles are fine. The level of color reproduction is also accurate.
Most of the places on the front panel have been taken by the display. For this reason you will get an on -screen button instead of physical or capacitive button. There is a dual selfie camera setup above the screen. Samsung’s phone has two cameras on the front for the first time. One sensor is 16 megapixels and the other is 8 megapixels. We used the dual selfie camera of the phone for some time during the event, especially the live focus feature. It is similar to portrait mode, but that is not the case in performance. Face recognition technique also worked well. It also identifies different faces even in low light. The rear camera is 16 megapixels. This sensor is with F/1.7 aperture. This means that you can expect better photos in low light. Due to limited time, we could not do much testing of the rear camera. We will tell you about this in detail in review.

The back of the device is glass. The phone’s grip is good due to curved design. However, fingers are easily on this. Apart from this, not much can be said about the strength of glass backpanel. The fingerprint sensor has found a place under the rear camera.
In the Galaxy A8+ (2018), loudspeakers and power buttons are on the right side. The volume button on the left is found. Here is also a tray for a Nano SIM. The USB Type-C port, microphone and 3.5mm headphone jack have found a place on the lower back. There is a secondary microphone at the top. It is here that there are other SIM cards and slots for microSD cards.
The new octa-core Samsung Exynos 7885 processor has been used in Galaxy A8+ (2018). The highest clock speed is 2.2 GHz. Let us know that Exynos 7885 processor is the latest midrange chipset of Samsung. We will take any decision on its performance during a review. The smartphone comes with 6 GB RAM. Inbuilt storage is 64 GB and it is possible to use microSD card up to 256 GB if needed.

Shocking is that Samsung has used Android 7.1.1 Nougat and no official information about Android Oreo updates is available. The Samsung Experience 8.5 user interface has been used in place of the company’s touchwiz UI over Android. The Battery of Samsung Galaxy A8+ (2018) is 3500 mAh.
We will soon come with a detailed review of Samsung Galaxy A8+ (2018). In this, the performance of the handset, battery life, camera quality, display and other aspects will be discussed in detail.
