Samsung Galaxy A53 5G price in India
Samsung Galaxy A53 5G India comes in two variants in India. Both variants have 128GB storage. The model with its 6GB RAM is priced at Rs 34,499 while the 8GB variant is priced at Rs 35,999. The model with more RAM of the two seems to be more value for money. The phone has been launched in four finish. These include Light Blue, ASM Black and Orange. I found its 8GB RAM light blue variant for review.
Samsung’s Galaxy A53 5G design
Samsung Galaxy A53 5G design is the base Galaxy A52S 5G and some elements also appear in the recently launched Galaxy S22 series. Overall, the design of the phone looks quite different and fresh. The mid -frame of the phone is made of polycarbonate but on the side it is wide and flat as is seen in Galaxy S22 devices. The Galaxy A52S 5G design has been designed in the rear panel. It is in matte finish with polycarbonate. The phone is quite smooth and premium in hand. Even fingers or spots do not easily fall on it. Its camera module looks mixed with the back panel but it is lightly out. This phone is slightly thicker than the old model. Black out for camera lenses look quite attractive.
It also has a 6.5 -inch full HD Plus Super AMOLED display on the lines of Galaxy A52S 5G. It is flat and comes with scratch protection of Gorilla Glass 5. The left and right border of the phone are slim but the phone feels a little thick on the top and bottom. The display also has a fingerprint scanner. It works as expected and is reliable. The way Samsung has fit the earpiece on the display and top frame, I liked it very hard because it looks very difficult. Like the previous model, it has an IP67 rating for dust and water protection.

Samsung Galaxy A53’s specification and software
The Galaxy A53 5G has an Exynos 1280 processor. Samsung used Qualcomm Snapdragon 778G processor with Galaxy A52S in Galaxy A73 5G. The Galaxy A53 5G has 5G, Wi-Fi AC, Bluetooth 5.1, NFC, and general satellite navigation system. The handset does not have a 3.5mm headphone jack. Also, this time it has not been given USB Type C Audio Adepter along with the box. The phone has dual 5G standbai support. It comes with a hybrid dual sim tray with a microSD card support of up to 1TB.

Talking about the interface, it gets Samsung’s One UI 3.1. It is Android 12 based and is going to give the best custom Android experience. The theme engine replaces the interface and app icon colors based on the wallpaper selected for the home screen. Many blotware is also available in the phone, which also has a long list of Samsung apps. Also, there are Microsoft and Third Party Apps. But you can remove most of these.
Samsung Galaxy A53 Performance
Qualcomm Snapdragon 778g Soc limited to Galaxy A73 5G did not prove to be a profitable deal for Samsung. In regular use, Exynos 1280 SoC runs well but there was not much difference in benchmark test. The Galaxy A53 5G scored 498 points in Geekbench’s single core test and 1,806 points in the multicor test. The phone scored 3,72,582 points on AnTuTu. These scores are only around smartphones at a lower price. This shows that the phone in this price segment is less powerful than its price. If compared, the old Galaxy A52s scored 739 points in the single core test on the gaekbench and 2,733 points in the multicor test. In this sense, the old model proves to be more powerful.
Talking about graphics quality, Call of Duty: In Mobile, it could only reach medium in which the frame rate was on ‘Max’. The game was being played on the phone but there were also legs somewhere in the middle of the matches. The touch sampling rate of the display also did not affect too much. The game ‘low’ graphics and ‘medium’ were the best in framaret settings which is a disappointing thing for a premium smartphone. Call of Duty: After the mobile gameplay, I also felt heat in the phone but did not affect the performance. Asphalt 9: Legends run smooth on default settings.

The refresh rate of the display varies between 120Hz and 60Hz. In the testing period I found that the webpage remained at 120Hz while streaming video on browsing, Instagram or YouTube. Only while using the camera app and playing the game went to 60Hz. The super amoled display of the phone is quite bright. Its color is Panchi and also shines clean in the direct light of the sun. It does not support HDR but the content looks good in video streaming and black is also deep. Stereo speakers have sound balanced and quite loud.
It proves to be good in battery life with its old model. It has a large 5000mAh battery. This HD video loop lasted for 19 hours and 44 minutes in the test, which is quite impressive. In simple use, the phone runs for two days, which is a good thing. The company does not give charger in the phone box. I put my 61W USB PD charger in it. The phone supports 25W charging. From zero, up to 100 percent, it charged in 1 hour 51 minutes, which is not bad but, not so fast than rivals.
Samsung Galaxy A53 5G Cameras
Samsung Galaxy A53 5G cameras are similar to the old model. The rear has a 64 -megapixel main camera, a 12 -megapixel ultravide camera, a 5 -megapixel macro camera and a 5 -megapixel depth sensor. It has a 32 -megapixel camera for selfie. The camera app can be customized and many shortcuts are also found in the viewfinder.

Photos taken in daylight were quite good and the dynamic range was also enough with details. Like the Galaxy A52s 5G, the colors found a little oversaturated and a slight blue tone also appeared. Macro camera is quite useful, it had good picture details. The portrait shot of the selfie camera was also quite crisp and clear, which had no shortage of details and dynamic range. Edge detection was also very good.

While shooting in auto mode in low-light, the camera showed a good dynamic range but I also saw some noise in it. At the same time, in the night shot mode, the camera took more time to capture the shot. Photo was found more bright but the details were reduced. Standard night mode also took a few seconds to capture low-light landskep but the quality was good. Even after turning on the night mode, she appeared with selfie blur and noise taken in low-light.

Its ultravide angle camera takes good shots in daylight, but the photo appears to be blurred and stretched on the edges. Low-light shots were quite low in quality and also looked soft in best quality.
The 1080p videos shot at 30fps in the day-light recorded quite stable and the dynamic range was also good. The same footage recorded a slight shake on 60fps. The video details shot on 4K were the best but there was a shortage of stabilization. Low-light video quality came very low. The 1080p video shot at 30fps in low-light appeared with the blur and was with a shimming effect. The primary camera was seen struggling to focus at night.
Verdict
Samsung Galaxy A53 5G smartphone has considerable capacity, but it beats in performance. This is due to its new processor. I think this processor mid range Galaxy M33 5G (18,999 rupees) was good for phones above a 35 thousand rupees. The day-light performance of the phone is quite good. This segment is the only phone that comes with an IP67 rating. Galaxy A52S 5G (Review) gives better gaming performance, it also has a headphone jack and a charger comes with the box. The phone price (Rs 32,499) is also less than the new model which makes it a better option.
Talking about rivals, IQoo 9 se (Starting from Rs 33,990) gives it the most competition. We have not yet reviewed this phone but it has a better Qualcomm Snapdragon 888 SoC and the box gets 66W charger. Its base variants get 8GB of RAM. If you want a clean Android experience then Motorola Moto Edge 20 Pro Can see which comes with Snapdragon 870 SoC and also has a 108 -megapixel primary camera.
