Realme Techlife Watch S100 The price in India is Rs 2,499. This is the most affordable smartwatch you can buy in the company’s brands. It offers a lot in terms of features, including heart rates and SPO2 tracking and also features like body temperature monitoring. Is this the most affordable smartwatch of the present time, which you can buy? Let’s address in this review.

Design of Realme Techlife Watch S100
Most of the affordab smartwatch provides a rectangular screen. Most of them are inspired by Apple Watch. Realme Techlife Watch S100 also has the same look, but its low price affects the design and build quality of the watch. Nevertheless, it is a good looking smartwatch at this price.
Watch S100 has a 1.69 inch rectangular color display with a resolution of 240×280 pixels and peak brightness 530 notes. The screen is placed in a plastic case, around which a thick border is found. The right side has only one single physical button. At the bottom, magnetic charger, optical sensors for heart rate, blood oxygen monitoring and body temperature sensors have been given.
Its single button itself serves as its power button (on or off when pressed) and standby button (screen on or off). If you are in the menu, it is also useful to take you a step back. For navigation and device control, swipe and tap can be done on the touch screen to move from each other to another and selection of user interfaces.
The 20mm rubber strap of the watch feels quite comfortable and comes with multiple points to adjust to the wrist. It can be removed and can also be replaced. This smartwatch comes in black and gray color and has an IP68 rating for water juice. This rating makes the watch safe while bathing or swimming.

Realme Techlife Watch S100 is quite light. Its weight is only 34 grams. It has a 260mAh battery and apart from temperature sensors and optical sensors, an accelerometer. It has a support of Bluetooth 5.1 for connectivity. It has a support of Realme Fit App for packing with smartphones.
Charging cable is available in the box with smartwatch. It is attached to the charging points in the bottom of the watch. You do not get a wall adapter in the box. Instead, you can use the USB port of charger or computer.
Realme Techlife Watch S100 Software, Interface and App
Like most low -priced smartwatches, this watch also runs on its own software, but it requires an app for synchronization with a payer smartphone. The user is interface decent.
The Watch has a quick settings menu to easily control battery status, brightness control, DND tole, flash lights and settings menu. It has a notification shed to show a few selected apps and widgets fitness and health tracking notifications. You can also open the entire list of apps already upcoming in Smartwatch.
The watchfase can be directly replaced by tapping and holding on the home screen. Three watchface in it are already installed and are always available. The fourth can be sinked by selecting from the Companion app.
Realme Techlife Watch S100 has special apps from which you can use its function and use health tracking features. You can set alarm and timer, track workouts, trigger your phone’s camera shutter. Music can also be controlled. Keep in mind that there is no way to install new apps on this smartwatch.
Realme Watch 2 Pro and many other devices, which run on the company’s Realme Link App, use this smartwatch Realme Fit App, apart from them. This app is available on both Android and iOS platforms. It provides detailed fitness and health data. You can control the workouts, change the settings of the device and select the apps sending notifications on the smartwatch.
With OnePlus 9, I did it to it and the app did a good job. The connection was stable in this and the notification push was also good. However, the app is not designed as well as Realme Link. Many times I found strange things and mistakes related to text in it which found the mistake of translation. If the Realme Link App was used in it, it would have been better experience.
Realme Techlife Watch S100 Performance and Battery Life
Most of the variable fitness trackers worth less than 3 thousand rupees are similar, which have an ordinary basic screen. But it takes more smartwatch to see and work Realme Techlife Watch S100. It has a large screen, health tracking features and along with a large collection of watchfase, there is a customization and personalization.
Due to the display being large, you are able to read the notification easily. In some notifications you will get basic details and you will not be able to respond to them with smartwatch. In this, you can remove the notifications coming for incoming calls, but your phone will continue to play even after tapping the option of Decline on the watch.
The watch face looks quite good on Realme Techlife Watch S100. Many of these include already inserted competitions, which appear live indicators for heart rates, steps and body temperature. I liked the already installed watchface, but you get more than 100 watchface to choose from the Realme Fit app.
Health and fitness features on Watch S100 include step, sleep, heart rate, blood oxygen and body temperature tracking. The workout tracking steps and the distance fixed using the heart rate data are revealed about and the calories spent. Other tools of the watch include a flashlight, stopwatch, timer, alarm, weather report, camera shutter remote and music playback remote. They all work as expected.

Smartwatch accurately tracked sleep. It showed some difference when deep sleep broke. How often you sleep well a week or a month, also maintains the chart app. A variety of workouts can be logged into the device including walking, cycling, yoga, cricket, football and basketball etc. They also have the ability to measure a special activity of any exercise or sport, but I only did basic tests in it and saw it in walking.
Manueli I counted 1000 steps but this watch of Reality counted 1048 steps. Err margin was less than 5 percent. When I compared it to its Apple Watch Series 5 (wearing both watches together), the error margin became 1,055 while only 1000 steps were counted in Apple Watch. So many errors can be expected in this price range.
Its heart rate tracking was accurate in a position to sit down and stand down. Even then it was taking a few seconds time in matching the reading shown by my pulse oximeter. While walking, readings were barely matching.
Blood oxygen reading did not satisfy the Realme Techlife Watch S100. Pulse Oximeter showed this completely different reading. These readings also fluctuated 1-2 percent in every few seconds, while the reading of the pulse oximeter was stable.
Its body temperature sensor showed two different measurements, one skin temperature and the other body temperature. It is difficult to say how accurate they are because it depends where the temperature is being measured and under which circumstances. Its readings did not find me matching the contactless thermometer. However, it was usually giving satisfactory results. The changes in the skin temperature were also telling quickly.
In simple use, its battery proved very good which lasted for 8 days in single charge. Realme Watch 2 is equal to the battery of 2 Pro, which is also expensive than this and comes with a big battery.
Verdict
Affordable smart wearables mostly focus on fitness and health tracking and there are very few smartwatch features. However, the Realme Techlife Watch S100 has been launched as a premium -looking smartwatch and the price has also been kept low. It offers almost all types of functions. However, it does not affect much in fitness tracking. Its specialty is its large display and notification functions.
My experience was almost accurate heart rate, step count and blood oxygen tracking. The app design seems strange, yet its good screen, reliable connectivity, notification features and good battery life make it a good option for a price of less than Rs 3000. If you want to go towards the smartband form factor, then you can also see Mi Band 6 priced at Rs 3,499.
