Realme GT Neo 2 (Review) met my expectations as a gaming grade smartphone. Now the company has launched its successor which is seen adopting the same formula. Some features of Realme GT Neo 3 make it stand in the 2022 premium smartphone race. Let’s closely look at this gaming friendly smartphone launched by the company.

This latest smartphone of Reality Realme Gt Neo 3 And Realme Gt Neo 3 (150W) It has been launched in two models named. Models with 80W fast charging support also have two options. Its 8GB RAM + 128GB storage model comes at Rs 36,999 and the 8GB RAM + 256GB model comes for Rs 38,999. A 150W charging model provides a 150 watt charger inside the box. It has 12 GB RAM and 128 GB storage and the price is Rs 42,999. Both models have different battery capacity. The 80W phone has a 5,000mAh battery while the 150W model has a 4,500mAh battery.

I had the top and 150W model. In the case of looks, it resembles the old model. The phone has a polycarbonate frame and a glass back panel. It does not seem too heavy in 188 grams weight. If there is a major change in the design, it is two racing strips that give it a sporty look. The phone can be selected from Nitro Blue, Sprint White and Espault Black Colors. Its asphalt black gives more soft look as it does not have racing strips.

Realme GT Neo 3 has a 6.7 -inch full HD Plus Amoled display. For scratch protection, it has a Corning Gorilla Glass 5. The display is given with 120Hz peak refresh rate and thin bezel in the bottom as compared to GT Neo 2.

Realme GT Neo 3 (150W) highlight is its 150W charging capability. Realme claims that the 150W model is equipped with its “Ultradart” adaptive charging controller. It can charge 50 percent battery in just five minutes.

The battery of the phone is divided into two units with the capacity of each unit is 2,250mAh. When it comes to battery safety, the company says that its charging system is certified from TUV Rheinland. It has a smart MCU control management system, which disconnects it with power source when anything is wrong with the battery. The company claims that even after completion of 1,600 charge bicycle, its battery can retain its 80 percent holding capacity.

A major change in Realme GT Neo 3 has been made as MediaTek Dimensity 8100 processor. The processor is good but how the device performed with it in gaming and daily basis, you will have to wait for a full review. Reality says that it has given the second dedicated processor display that increases motion estimation, motion compaction and reduces the load of GPU and also reduces the total battery consumption of the phone.

I did not like the camera performance in Realme Gt Neo 2. In GT Neo 3, it seems downgrade in terms of sensor resolution. The primary lens is 50 megapixels with optical image stabilization. The same 8 megapixel camera is found in the form of ultra wide, with a 2 megapixel macro camera. The front has a 16 -megapixel selfie camera.

The phone runs on Realme UI 3 with Android 12. All Android 12 features are known in the phone, but I also noticed a lot of third party apps installed.

Realme

Realme GT Neo 3 Kajgi seems to be a strong phone. It has a 120Hz refresh rate, new MediaTek Dimensity 8100 SoC, and the most shocking is 150 watt charging. The main lens has OIS support which is not found in this segment. Is this a better upgrade to the old model? And to know how to compete with the recently launched OnePlus 10R, definitely see full review.
