Realme GT 2 Pro Currently, India is the most expensive reality phone sold in India, but it is one of the most affordable models, which you can buy with Qualcomm’s top-off-the line processor. It has only a direct competition and is Motorola Edge 30 Pro (Review),
There is a lot in GT 2 Pro with an initial price of Rs 49,999. Such as 2K displays, fast charging, a good set of cameras and promise of good gaming performance. So is this a better option than the Moto phone? Let’s find out.

Design of Realme GT 2 Pro

The back panel of Realme GT 2 Pro has an optional unique texture. It is said that this paper products are copied to give feel. Regarding the special material used in its back, Reality says that it has been taken from renewable sources and used in the white and green version of the phone. At the same time, a common glass panel is found in steel black variants with frosted texture.

After using its white unit for a few weeks, I am happy to say that this phone does not struggle with any permanent stain or mark in daily use, as I thought it could happen. Its wavy text makes good grip. It also ensures that fingerprints and smugs are not an issue. I like its matte-finished aluminum frame look and the ovaultestic likes of the phone, but Kash Reality would have given a little more careers to show its most expensive model different from the rest of the Portfolio phones.

A large selling point of Realme GT 2 Pro is its display, which is usually found in expensive Android flagship. It has 2K (3216×1440) resolution in its 6.7-inch AMOLED panel, which has a 10-bit color depth and 1,400 matches of 1,400 notes. It also has LTPO 2.0 technology, which means that the refresh rate can vary from 1Hz to 120Hz depending on your activity. In addition, Realme has used Corning Gorilla Glass Victus for scratch protection. Needless to say that its display performs best to play games and watch videos.

The 65W superdart fast charger, a USB cable and a case have been given in the box of Realme GT 2 Pro.

Realme GT 2 Pro Prices, Spax and Software

The base variant of Realme GT 2 Pro is in a range of 50 thousand rupees. It is 8GB RAM and 128GB storage variants. At the same time, 12GB RAM and 256GB storage have been given in the variant of Rs 57,999 and this is the variant that I have.

Realme GT 2 Pro has Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Jane 1 processor. It supports 13 5G bands and you get dual 5G support for both SIMs. This should be enough for 5G networks coming to India.

The phone has stereo speakers, which are Dolby Atmos Certified. Like Apple’s True Tone feature, color temperature sensors have been provided in the front and back of the phone to agitate its display color (white balance). In addition, heart rate monitoring has been implemented in an in-display fingerprint sensor as an experience feature.

Realme GT 2 Pro has a stainless steel vaper cooling chamber, which promises to protect the phone from overheating. The software includes the GT Mode Togal, which is believed to have prevents the phone processor from throtting to give better performance to heavy apps.

The phone has two features missing. Wireless charging and IP ratings. However, there is a rubber gasket around the sim tray to prevent water, which suggests that measures have been taken to protect the phone from water. However, Realme has not given any official guarantee. In comparison, both these features have been offered in Motorola Edge 30 Pro, which can remove customers from GT 2 Pro.

Realme GT 2 Pro runs on Android 12 on Realme UI 3.0. The look of the interface customizable and it runs a short run. The phone has a lot of bundle apps, including reality stores and community. Most of these can be uninstalling. Realme’s first party apps did not face the notification spam or any other issue, which surprised me.

With this phone, Realme has promised a three -year Android OS update and a four -year security update. I think this is a good way to maintain faith.

Realme GT 2 Pro Performance and Battery Life

Realme GT 2 Pro does not seem cumbersome or heavy. However, it is said for many flagship Android. The phone is not too thick and is weight (189 grams), which makes it feel light and makes it easier to carry. However, its glass back variant is slightly heavy, weighing 199g.

GT 2 Pro handled the popular social and productivity apps well. Its interface was always sharp and fluid. I also liked that the in-display fingerprint sensor is close to the display center.

For the content clearly visible, the phone’s display becomes sufficiently bright. It also becomes bright even in the sun. The display resolution was ‘auto select’ throughout my entire revision period and I saw that it presented all the apps and content very well, including the game on WQHD+ resolution.

Realme GT 2 Pro with media playback and gaming became excellent.

The videos looked great with accelerant color sachuration, adequate brightness and good HDR rendering. Stereo speakers were also very loud and were doing good sounds. Gaming performance was also solid. ASPHALT 9: Legends scored a short run with solid frame rate and good graphics. However, after playing more demanding game like Fortnite, the phone’s body became heated. Even when the game played in the indoor, I noticed that the upper half of the frame and some parts of the back panel became very hot after about 20 minutes. After a point, I had to file a case on the phone, because the heating was not being tolerated.

This issue was not with every game. But the game holding graphical demand pushes the cooling system of GT 2 Pro to its limit. The phone was also very good. AnuTu got an impressive score of 972,119 points.

The battery life of the phone was also very good. In a single charge, I was able to use the phone a day and a little more than this. In our HD video loop test, this phone lasted for 20 hours and 41 minutes. Its 5,000mAh battery does not take long to charge with 65W charger. You can charge it completely in more than half an hour. That is, it is very fast charge.

Realme GT 2 Pro camera

Realme GT 2 Pro has a good set of cameras. It performs well in day and low light. Realme has used the Sony IMX766 50 megapixel sensor for the main rear camera. It also has a wide f/1.8 aperture with optical stabilization. This can shoot a video at the rate of 24fps in 8K resolution. The daylight was autofocus quick and found in landscape shots, rich details and colors were found. Close-up shots had a brilliant background blur with Accessive details. Low-light pictures were also very good. It had more details than low noise and average. OIS found sharp and good details in low-light’s close ups.

Realme GT 2 Pro has an ultra-wide camera with a 50-megapixel Samsung JN1 sensor. We we OnePlus 10 Pro (Reverse) Have seen in Ultra-wind shots found low details and the color was also not very accurate for the real scene, but the barrel disorder and HDR were handled better. The camera app has a 150 degree shooting mode, as in 10 Pro. This allows the lens to take advantage of the full field of view. The low-light photo was not as bright as the main camera. However there was still a lot to use.

The third camera of the phone is a 2 megapixel sensor with ‘micro-lens’. It allows the Ecstream Close-Up to capture the 20x or 40x magnfacation. This lens can be used to capture something special from everyday things. In ‘Microscope’ shooting mode, the phone should be millimeter away from its subject. Because light is an issue in such mode, two LEDs are automatically activated above and below the micro-lens while using this mode. Apart from this, there are some funny films.

Realme GT 2 Pro has the same 32 -megapixel Sony IMX615 sensor selfie camera, which was in OnePlus 10 Pro. It takes good pictures in the day and low light. Skin smoothing is defaulted for selfie. However, if you switch to natural profiles, skin tones and textures become much better.

Video recording capabilities of Realme GT 2 Pro are also on top. The 8K videos shot at the day and night looked good, but Stabilization made the camera look movement a bit jerk. The videos recorded on 4K also looked very good and had a smooth stabilization. While recording on this resolution, the camera app also allows you to switch between the main and ultra-wide cameras.

What is our decision

There should be no doubt that Realme GT 2 Pro is a very good premium smartphone. In my opinion, the base variant with 8GB RAM gives the best value. I will recommend it for excellent performance, unique texture design, better battery life and cameras. However, if you have an IP rating and wireless charging case, Motorola will be a smart choice.

Its 12GB variant is less expensive than the rest of Snapdragon 8 Gane 1 smartphone, but the price is about 58 thousand rupees. I think that Samsung Galaxy S21 Fe 5G (Reverse) Or OnePlus 9 Pro 5G (Reverse) For example, options are more complete flagship and offer better values. Yes, they may lack the capacity of the GT 2 Pro capacity, but they are ahead with features such as wireless charging and official IP ratings.
