Realme C3 Design
Realme Has chosen a new design for 2020, which the company calls Sunrise Design. We we Reality 5i But have seen it and now the company Realme C3 It is tried. Realme C3 is introduced in two -color options, including frozen blue and blazing red colors. For this review, we have a frozen blue color variant. This color is definitely attractive. There is a texture in the back of the phone, which you can feel in your fingers.
Realme has given a larger display than the previous model in C3. The size of the display is 6.5-inch and has an aspect ratio of 20: 9. This aspect ratio makes the smartphone long and thin, so it is relatively easy to hold and use it. There are thin bezels around the display, but the bottom chin is given thick chin. Like most of the Reality smartphones in the market, the Reality C3 also comes with Waterdrop Notch.

The phone’s frame is made of plastic. The power button is given to the right and the volume button on the left. The button is set in the right place, which makes it easy to deliver these fingers. However, there is a lack of emergence, causing it to reach them with accuracy.
The Reality C3 has a sim tray just above the volume button. The good thing is that a separate microSD card can also be installed with two SIMs. The phone has a micro-USB port, 3.5mm audio jack and a loudspeaker. It is very disappointing that USB Type-C has not been used in this phone in 2020. Nothing is given in the upper part of the frame.
Come to the back. Here you will find the design of the phone to a large extent like Reality 5i. Its camera module also matches the Reality 5i. The Reality C3 has a dual back camera. The company has given a metal rim around the camera, which protects the lens from scratches. Realme C3 has a 5,000 mAh battery, which is less seen in this price phone. However, the big battery also increases the weight of this phone. The phone weighs 195 grams.
Realme C3 Specifications and Software
Reality c2 In the company gave MediaTek’s Helio P22 chipset, but here the company has made the biggest change. Reality has given a new Helio G70 chipset of MediaTek focusing on gaming, making a straight bounce in C3. It is an octa-core processor, which has a maximum clock speed 2.0 GHz. The C3 has two variants. Its base variant comes with 3 GB RAM and 32 GB storage and its second variant has 4 GB RAM and 64 GB storage. The company has also set the price of both these variants properly. The base variant is priced at Rs 6,999 and the high-end variant is priced at Rs 7,999. As we said, its storage can also be increased through microSD card.
Realme C3 is a dual SIM smartphone, which also supports VoLTE along with 4G. Connectivity options include Bluetooth 5, Wi-Fi, five positioning systems and all other common sensors. Like the Reality C2, the Reality C3 also does not include fingerprint scanner.

The software of the phone is a place where Reality has improved. The Reality C3 now runs on Coloros like its previous version, instead the company has given Realmeui V1.0, which is based on Android 10. This is the company’s first smartphone, which comes preloaded with Android 10.
The new reality is similar to Oppo’s ColorOS and comes with a lot of changes against Coloros 6. It is largely similar to stock Android and we liked its layout. However, the phone still includes some blotware (unwanted apps), which have Facebook, Hello, Dailyhunt, Song, Opera News, UC Browser and some realum apps. The smartphone also has an app market store, which is another option for Google Play Store.
Swipe to the right from the home screen does not bring a smart assistant or Google Assistant Screen. Yes, universal search is still available in the phone, which has to be swipe down on the home screen to access. Realmeui also included dark mode. The phone also has focus mode, which can be turned on from the notification shed.
Like other Realme smartphones, this phone is also accompanied by game space, which helps you block calls and notifications at the time of gaming. Reality also claims to have personal information safety facility features in this phone, which gives blank or dummy information to apps requesting access to your call history, contacts and messages.
Realme C3 performance and battery life
Being a budget device, we were expecting average performance from Realme C3. However, the device performs well. We did not see any kind of leg in this phone while scrolling in the menu and while doing multitasking. Let us know that we have tested 4 GB RAM variants of this device and it can easily multitasque without clicking apps.
We set face recognition on the device, found that this phone recognizes your face comfortably in any light and the phone allows. The display remains bright even in sunlight, but it would have been good if its viewing angle would have been a bit better.

We also played PUBG mobile game in Reality C3. Graphics are set on HD from the beginning in the game and the settings are also set on high, which is a good thing. However, after playing for a while, we found a light leg in the game on these settings. Medium from high to medium, the performance improved significantly and the game ran in a smooth manner without any problem. If you play the game in it for 15 minutes on high settings, then you will also feel a slight warmth in the display.
The phone comes with a large battery of 5,000 mAh, which gives the best battery life. In our test, this phone lasted about two days on a charge. During this time we played some games on the phone, used an active WhatsApp account and used Google Chrome for web browsing. In our HD video loop test, the smartphone has not given an incredible 28 hours and 20 -minute battery backup, as much as any smartphone has yet been given in this test. However, we felt very disappointed at one place. The company should have given fast charging support with large batteries, but Reality gives a 10 watt output charger with this phone, which takes two hours to fully charge the battery.
Realme c3 cameras
The Reality C3 has a 12-megapixel primary camera, which comes with f/1.8 aperture. Its second camera is a 2-megapixel depth sensor. The front has a 5-megapixel selfie camera. The camera app has been significantly changed compared to the previous reality phone. Now it includes portraits, time-laps, slow-mo, experts and pano modes besides photo and video mode. It also has a quick togle for HDR and Croma Boost.

When taking pictures in the daylight, Realme C3 locked the focus rapidly. The camera measured the lights properly, due to which the phone got good pictures. However, if you zoom and take pictures in the camera, then you will get to see the lack of details in the photos. According to the price of the phone, the quality of the camera can be said to be better. Talking about the close-up shot, we saw that the Reality C3 was very close to the subject to lock the focus. However, the picture is good when the focus is locked.

It has a depth sensor for portrait mode. The good thing is that the camera app gives you the option to set the blur level before taking a picture on this mode. Realme C3 detects the edges of the subject well but we found the picture a little flat.

The Reality C3 in low light gives quite average photos. They clearly show the lack of details and sharpness. Realme’s official website initially claimed to include a super nitscape mode feature in the phone, but we did not find it in the camera app. When we inquired about this, a Realme representative confirmed the Gadgets 360 and said it was a mistake and this model does not come with such mode. The company later removed it from the website.

Talking about selfie, the color tone comes out in a selfie taken out in the daylight. There was also a lack of brightness and details in the picture. Both back and front cameras can record video at a maximum of 1080 pixels resolution in the phone. The camera has not given a video stabilization. At the time of video recording, the Reality C3 detects the light in low light. This is a good feature according to the phone of this segment.
Verdict
Realme C3 definitely brings a strong feature compared to Realme C2 and makes the company’s budget series strong. Reality in the phone has given a powerful chipset, which gives a good competition to its opponents in terms of performance. Battery life is more powerful than expected and it is an impressive thing that all the smartphones of Reality are constantly standing successfully in our battery test. Of course, the camera performance of Reality C3 cannot be called excellent, but it cannot be called boora according to the price.
It can be easily advised to buy Realme C3 at an initial price of just Rs 6,999. However, like most of its rivals, Reality could give a fingerprint scanner in this phone. Also, we want to see USB Type-C becoming a standard feature.
