Realme 9 5G price in India
Realme 9 5G The price in India is Rs 14,999, with 4 GB RAM and 64 GB storage variants of this smartphone. At the same time, its 6 GB RAM and 128 GB storage variants are priced at Rs 17,499. The smartphone is available in two colors, in which the option of Stargase White and Meteor Black is found. I had its Stargase White variant.
Realme 9 5G Design
Realme 9 5G has a well-known design and it reminds me of all the smartphones of the company that I used earlier. A camera hole has been given in the left corner of the big display of the phone. The borders on the top and sides are quite thin but Chin is quite thick. It does not get up much and goes on in this price range smartphones. Reality has used plastic for the frame and back panels, which has managed to limit its weight to 188 grams, which seems quite light.

The phone has a power button on the right side, on which a fingerprint scanner is given. The volume buttons are given on the other side. It becomes easy to reach all buttons when used by one hand. The phone is quite thin and its thickness is only 8.55mm.
The bottom of the phone has a 3.5mm headphone jack, primary microphone, USB Type-C port and loudspeaker. While the top side is completely empty. The back side of the phone is completely flat and shore curved, making it quite comfortable to hold the phone. In the rear, there are three cameras in the rectangular module which feels a little out. Because of this, the phone is not able to stay stable on the flat surface, which I did not like.
The back panel is given patterns with Stargase White Finnish, which appears to be changing the color when seen in the light. The fingers of fingers appear on the panel but are not easily visible. There is also a clear case for the phone inside the box.
Realme 9 5G Specifications and Software
Realme 9 5G has a 6.5 -inch LCD display with a resolution full HD+. It has a 90Hz refresh rate. The weight of the phone’s performance is on the MediaTek Dimensity 810 5G octa-core processor. The device has a 5000mAh battery, which supports 18W fast charging. Charger comes together in the box. The SIM tray replaces two nano SIM and one microSD card. This phone has Bluetooth 5.1, dual band Wi-Fi and 6 satellite navigation systems.

Talking about the operating system, it runs on Realme UI 2.0 based on Android 11. The Android Security Patch of March 2022 was given in my unit. User interface is quite easy, especially when you are using Reality phones for the first time. For navigation, you can togue three button layouts or swipe gestures. It also has a smart sidebar feature, which gives quick access to your favorite apps and action.
In Realme UI 2.0, you get many types of personalization options, in which you can replace icon style, color scheme, font and icon layouts. Inside the Settings app, you also get experimental features to try in Realme Lab section. One such feature is of sleep capsules that do not allow you to use apps after a certain time, so that you can sleep without any disturbance.
I found a large amount of pre-installed blotware in the device. During the review, I keep getting spam notifications from some apps like Finshell Pay and Theme Store, but you can also remove third party apps.
Realme 9 5G performance and battery life
The performance of Realme 95G was quite good in common use. The refresh rate keeps on switching between 60 and 90 Hz, which depends on what you are working on the phone. To make scrolling smooth, you can also lock it at 90 Hz.
The experience of watching the video in the phone was good but the sound of the single speaker was not very loud. In this case, Redmi Note 11 gives it a tough competition, with dual speakers with AMOLED display. Its side mounted fingerprint scanner is quite fast and no more than one attempt to unlock the phone. The face recognition feature of the phone is also very fast.

My review unit had 6GB of RAM, besides 5GB of storage can also be converted into virtual RAM. The phone has multitasking smooth. Without reloading an app in the background, I was able to switch to the other app to another. The phone’s app loading time is also less.
Talking about benchmark scores, the phone achieved a score of 372,099 points on AnTuTu. It scored 609 in Geekbench 5’s single core test and 1,830 in multicor tests. In the 3DMark Sling Shot Test, the phone scored 3,475.
Common games were running easily in the phone. Even Call of Duty: Mobile game was default in medium graphics and medium frame rate settings. When I played the game in the phone for 15 minutes, Batari was reduced by 4 percent. The warmth in the phone was almost negligible.

Realme 9 5G gives good battery life and you can use it comfortably for about one and a half days in a full charge. In our HD video loop test, the phone lasted for 16 hours 38 minutes, which is a good time. The 18W charger found with the phone charges it 27 percent in 30 minutes and 52 percent in one hour. The phone takes a little longer than 2 hours to fully charge.
Realme 9 5G Cameras
Realme 9 5G has a 48MP primary camera, which is aperture f/1.8. It captures a 12 -megapixel photo by default. Ultravide camera is not given in the phone. Its two other sensors are Black and White Potict and Macro. The phone has a 16 -megapixel selfie camera. Many features and shooting mode are found in the camera app. The Quick Togal button is also provided for HDR and AI mode. The phone also has a street mode which gives high-finished and high saturation effects while taking photos.

The phone’s day-light camera performance is good. The light was well steamy and HDR mode was automatically turned on when there was more brightness. AI mode looked more aggressive in green terms and showing trees and other green things too artificial. The primary camera of the phone clicks good shots but the details decrease slightly when zoomed. Ultravide angle camera should have been in the phone that could have done a lot.
Close-up shots of the phone were good and background blur was also being well maintained. Potitrate shots were sharp and edge detection with background blur was also good. Macro shots average came and the resolution was only 2 megapixels.

The phone’s low-light camera performance in regular photo mode was quite average. The photos looked soft and in distant things looked like water color. There was not much difference even when using night mode. Even though it raised the details in the darkness, it found a yellow tint as a filter has been used. Shots were also stabilized, so blur also looked quite a lot.

Selfies also looked good in daylight or low light. The results of screen brightness in low-light get the results good. Potitrate selfie was good, but the phone was using the beautification filter as default.

The phone from primary camera and selfie camera can record a maximum video of up to 1080p. By default it does not stabilize footage. It has an Ultra Steady mode, which crops the frame a bit to make the footage stabilized, which improves the video. Light grains were visible in low-light footage.
Overall, the Realme 95G camera performance was quite good in the day time, but the phone was seen struggling in low-light.
Verdict
Realme has launched so many smartphones in a range below 20 thousand rupees that it becomes difficult to separate its models and series from each other and do not understand which phone to choose. Realme 9 5G has simple designs and specifications which I think will not attract much. Phone hardware feature Realme 8s 5G See you a lot from It seems that the company has downed some specifications of old models to maintain the price of the phone.
The 6 GB RAM variant of Realme 95G comes for Rs 17,499, similarly with specifications, Rs 500 expensive Realme 8S 5G comes. Realme 8S 5G has a 64 -megapixel camera and 33W fast charging, which makes it more value for money.
The base variant of Realme 95G comes for Rs 14,999. The unit I did, I felt more value for money. If you are an ordinary user then you can see this phone. But I would suggest you that you Redmi Note 11 Go towards, because it also has AMOLED display, stereo speakers and 33W fast charging support. There is no 5G connectivity in it, but no network provider in India is providing this service. So there is no harm in taking the Redmi phone.
