Now Realme has its new smartphone Realme 3 Has launched This phone is upgraded to Realme 2 and the price is also around it. However, for the purpose of keeping the claim strong, the new model has more powerful processor. There is also a change in the design and the software is the latest. Due to these reasons, the phone seems to have a attractive option in the price range of Rs 10,000. Let us know about its features and shortcomings through reviews …
Realme 3 Design and Display
The biggest change in the design of Realme 3 is the existing of Waterdrop Notch compared to Reality 2. Realme says that the back of the phone is with a new unibody design. Injection molded plastic has been used instead of glass on the back. But it gives a feeling of becoming strong and holding it in the hands is also comfortable. But fingerprints easily fall.
Realme 3 weighs 175 grams which cannot be called light and its thickness is 8.3 millimeters. But weight distribution is excellent. Fingerprints will tease you. It is not easy to keep the pre -given screenguards and glossy back clean. We have reviewed the Radiant Blue variants. But Realme 3 is also available in black and dynamic black colors.
The single SIM slot has space for two Nano SIM cards and a microSD card. The phone has support for 4G dualVOLTE. There are 3.5mm headphone jacks, micro-USB ports and speakers on the lower back.

Realme 3 is the only 13 megapixel camera in the front that has found a place in the Nokia. The earpiece has found a place just above it. You will get a 6.2 -inch HD+ display with a protection of Corning Gorilla Glass. Reality has not told anything about the version. Chin on the lower back Realme U1 Wide is wide than.
Seeing the screen size, the resolution is slightly low. Especially when it competes with many full-HD panel handsets. For this reason, image and text do not look too sharp. But the situation is not as bad to dismiss the phone. Colors seem to be vivid and the level of brightness is also sufficient. We did not have trouble reading e-mail even in direct light.
There is a logo of Realme on the back, which has found a place below. The top has two rear cameras, LED flash and fingerprint sensor in the middle. The fingerprint scanner works faster. But the face unlock feature of this phone also works as fast as other reality phones.
Overall, Realme 3 handset is upgraded to Realme 2 in many ways. However, according to us the company should have given glossy back and USB Type-C port.
Realme 3 comes with Silicon case, SIM Ejector Tool, Data Cable and 10 Watt Charger. You will not get any earphones in the retail box.

Realme 3 specification and feature
The specification of Reality 2 surprised everyone, as Realme 1 was equipped with a better processor. The company has not repeated this mistake with Realme 3. This time the MediaTek Helio P70 processor has been used which stepped into the market with Realme U1. It is a competent processor.
Realme 3 has two variants- one is equipped with 3 GB RAM and 32 GB storage and the other has 64 GB storage with 4 GB RAM. We have reviewed 4 GB RAM variants.
The phone is equipped with ColorOS 6.0. This custom skin is based on Android 9.0 Pie. Our review unit had a security patch of January 2019. Coloros is not our favorite custom Android skin. But many shortcomings have been removed in the new version.

Google’s digital well -bearing feature, which comes with Android 9 Pie, has not yet been received. Android’s battery graph is also not yet a part of OS.
Realme 3 Performance, Camera and Battery Life
The experience of using Realme 3 is excellent due to new software and upgraded hardware. There were no complaints of the phone being hot while using social media or chat apps. The phone also handles multitasking easily. Despite having a glossy back, the phone does not slip in the hands.
The phone plays well in gaming. We tested Asphalt 9: Legends and PUBG Mobile. Our experience in both games was pleasant. During the playing of ESFALTE, the high preset graphics also had a framaret smooth. PUBG Mobile went well in medium graphics preset. The phone is definitely hot during gaming, but there is no shocking thing in it.

Realme 3 also works well with media. Animated Films come with good color selection. They also look live. Blax in dark scenes causes slight crush, but it is not bad for HD+ display.
A loud sound comes from a only speaker. But the voice is of very average quality. Its position is such that when the phone is used in landscape mode increases the chances of blocking the speaker.
Realme 3 has a 13 -megapixel and 2 -megapixel rear camera setup. The primary sensor is F/1.8 aperture. The secondary sensor is used to assess depth only in portrait mode.
There have also been some changes in the camera app in the new version of ColorOS. Realme has introduced two new shooting modes for rear camera- Nightscape and Chroma Boost
According to Realme, nitscape works to give bright photos to the user in low light using AI and multi-frame exposure. In use, this feature gave good results in more circumstances. But it was not very effective in the dark darkness.

Croma Boost can be activated with a viewfinder. It boosts the dynamic range of the image. Especially when the subject is being shot in bright lights. In our Test shot, there was definitely a boost in Colors and Brightness.

Landscape shot from primary camera sometimes comes best and sometimes very average. Some shots do not lack details, but the camera falls slightly backward in the complex scene. Macrose comes with sharp and complete details. Colors are also a good captain in sufficient light. But many occasions also came when the camera did not focus on our subjects. If you do not use nightscape, the camera in low light captures soft photos.
Portrait mode is part of the front and rear camera. The age detection of the rear camera works properly. However, many times the outputs are completely bad. The background blur is slightly aggressive. Sadly, there is no facility to adjust it. Photos can also be taken in portrait mode from the front camera. But the age detection is not very good. HDR is also present, but colors look excessively saturated.

The front panel has a 13 -megapixel sensor with F/ 2.0 aperture. It captures selfie with details in sufficient light. But falls behind in low light. There is also an AI beautification mode.
From Realme 3, you will be able to record videos with 1080 pixels resolution at the rate of 30 frames per second. The image quality is good in sufficient light, but due to lack of stabilization, the footage is recorded. The phone also has slow motion video. With its help, you will be able to record 720 pixels videos at the rate of 90 frames per second.
The phone’s battery is 4230 mAh. It supported us all day in common use. For some reason, this battery gave disappointing results in the video loop test. The phone’s battery lasted for 9 hours 52 minutes, which is only slightly better than the average. There is no fast charging support, but you get 10 watt charger.
Our decision
If seen, Reality 3 is a strong upgrade of Realme 2 in every sense. The design is modern. The rear camera has received some new features. The display is bright and vivid. Even though the battery did not achieve good scores in the test, it is reliable in common use.
The most important is the upgrade processor. The cameras have improved, but there is still scope for improvement. According to us, the company should have given a type-C charging port, metal or glass invoice and high resolution display.
Realme 3 will get a challenge directly from Xiaomi’s Redmi Note 7. We have not yet reviewed Xiaomi’s latest budget phone. But on paper, its claim seems very strong.
For example, Redmi Note 7 Glossy Backs, Full-HD+ Display, USB Type-C port and Qualcomm Quick Charge come with 4 support. Its price is also around Reality 3. On the basis of these features, Redmi Note 7 seems stronger of Realme 3 in every respect. But we will tell the final decision on this only after reviewing Xiaomi’s phone.
If your budget is limited then you can consider buying 3 GB version of Realme 3. However, it should also be remembered that you have an additional Rs 1,000 Redmi Note 7 There is also a chance to get. On the other hand, the price of the powerful variant of Realme 3 is around its Realme U1 handset of the company itself.
Realme has told the Gadgets 360 that no reality handset will be removed from the market for a few months to come. In such a situation we Realme U1 ,Review) Will suggest to buy.
