Qualcomm Snapdragon 630 processor, camera with zice optics and changed design Nokia 6 (2018)
Now Xiaomi Redmi Note 5 Pro ,Review) And Moto G5s Plus ,Review) Like the smartphone will challenge. At first glance, this handset impressed us. Now we have come with its detailed review.
Nokia 6 (2018) Design
Last year’s Nokia 6’s body was highly praised. In such a situation, HMD Global has decided to remain on the old strategy. This time too, the build quality has not been compromised. Nokia 6 2018 is built from a block of series 6000 aluminum and it gives a feeling of being very strong in the hands.
During the review, this phone dropped several times with our hands. But it did not harm it. We also tested and tested Nokia’s strengthening claims. For this, tried to turn the smartphone. And we failed every time. Like the old variants, Nokia 6 (2018) is also ahead in the strongest smartphone race of the year.
Many things have to be compromised due to strong texture. This smartphone with an 8.5 millimeter thickness is not the thinnest option. At the same time, wide borders above and below the display also give the phone a bulk look. For a long time, using the phone with a hand was not comfortable. Because the phone is slightly wide.

Nokia 6 (2018) comes with three separate two-tone finish. The rear cameras and the edge of the frame work to improve the design design.
Power and volume buttons are easy to reach. They have found space on the right side. The left side has space for hybrid dual sim slot. Sadly, the user must choose one of the second SIM card and microSD card.
The rear camera and dual LED flash are present in a line in the middle of the phone. It is here that Zais is branding. The fingerprint sensor has found space under the camera setup. It is slightly slow and does not respond several times. It is also not easy to access it. During the review, we were several times touching LED flash instead of fingerprint sensor.
Nokia 6 (2018) Specification
Last year, Nokia 6 suffered a lot due to a slightly weak Snapdragon 430 processor. This time HMD Global has decided to give more powerful Snapdragon 630 processor with the highest clock speed 2.2 GHz.
There are many more upgrades in hardware. The USB Type-C port has replaced the micro-USB port. Nokia has joined Android One. This means guarantee of regular software updates. Last year’s flagship smartphone Nokia 8’s Bothi Mode and Ozo Audio have been made part of this midst handset.

Where Xiaomi provides many variants of its smartphone. This time Nokia has not used much. Currently, just one variant of Nokia 6 (2018) has been introduced. It is equipped with 3 GB RAM and 32 GB storage. It will also be possible to use microSD card if needed. By the way, in the coming time, a new variant of this phone will also come.
This time the company has decided to give zeis optics in a midrange smartphone. Talking about the camera setup, the Nokia 6 (2018) has a 16-megapixel rear camera with zice optics which comes with dual-tone LED flash and F/2.0 aperture. At the same time, an 8 -megapixel sensor with a fixed focus has been given on the front panel. It is equipped with F/2.0 aperture.
There is no change in battery capacity. However, the 3000 mAh battery now supports fast charging. The connectivity feature includes 4G VoLTE, Bluetooth 5.0, Wi-Fi 802.11 AC, FM Radio, GPS/ A-GPS, USB Type-C and 3.5mm headphone jack.
Nokia 6 (2018) Performance, Camera and Battery Life
Nokia 6 is a sleek and beautiful looking smartphone, but did not go with its power look. But after the arrival of Snapdragain 630 processor, the matter of Nokia 6 (2018) has become something else. During the review we found that the phone performed every task very easily.
Nokia 6 (2018) did not face much trouble while playing powerful games. Powerful games like ASPHALT 8 are also due to any problem on the phone. It is also good that Nokia 6 (2018) is not too hot while playing powerful games or while recording full-HD videos. We have done benchmark testing of Nokia 6 (2018) and got a respectable score.

Colors Panchi on the 5.5 -inch LCD screen and brightness are also high. However, the viewing angle could have been better.
Call quality was also good in our experience. 4G connectivity was also strong in areas with weak networks. We were disappointed to see just one speaker at the bottom. Stereo speakers were given in last year’s Nokia 6. The quality of the voice is average and sometimes while using the phone in landscape mode, speakers come under the palms. The earphone given together is of very average quality.
Last year, HMD Global tried to give stock Android in smartphones to give its phone a different identity. Now the company has joined Google’s Android One program. Because of this, there is no unwanted app in Nokia 6 (2018). You will get a feature named Glans Screen which shows the notification of missed calls, alarms and mail or messages in the lock screen. HMD Global has promised that Nokia 6 will get Android P update this year and next year of Android Q.
Nokia 6 (2018) comes with built in face recognition. Face unlock works fine in sufficient light. But it has problems in low light and sunlight.
In our HD video loop test, the Nokia 6 (2018) battery lasted for 11 hours 45 minutes. It should be praised. In daily use, the battery supported for more than a day. In our Test, the battery of Nokia 6 (2018) phone gets 40 percent charge in 30 minutes.
Nokia 6 (2018) Camera
The camera performance of Nokia 6 (2018) is like ‘Kabhi Khushi Kabhi Gum’. Even after having zice optics, the performance in low light has not improved. In low light, photos taken from 16 megapixel rear cameras are noise and lack of details also reflect. Is. Autofocus also weakens under opposite lighting conditions.
In adequate light, the camera gives performance with power. On most occasions it manages to achieve the right exposure and captures the photos with details. Pictures came with crisp and details when there was enough light in the indoor too. Dual-LED flash helps in capturing photos. Color reproduction is not the strongest aspect of this phone.
The good thing is that it has a powerful professional mode. With its help, you will be able to control exposure, ISO, shutter speed, white balance and autofocus. We were successful in getting accurate colors by changing the settings. We hope that Nokia software will improve auto mode through updates.

The 8 -megapixel front camera gives strong performance when sufficient lighting. If seen, it is much better than the selfie sensor of last year’s Nokia 6. The quality of photographs also falls when the lights are reduced. And there is no front flash in it.
In Nokia 6 (2018) you will be able to capture photos or video from the rear and front camera simultaneously. Bothi mode is a work feature. Sadly, in this mode, the quality of pictures being taken from the front and rear camera weakens.
Our decision
The build quality of Nokia 6 (2018) is fantastic. Performance has power and battery life is good. At the same time, Android One OS software comes with a guarantee of updates. The Nokia brand has always been known for making strong phones. Nokia 6 (2018) is also no exception. Even though it is not the most beautiful phone in appearance, but it is very capable.
This does not mean that everything is good in Nokia 6 (2018). You will not get 18: 9 displays, which is in trend these days. The performance of the rear camera in low light is not very good and color reproduction in auto mode is also not accurate. The biggest challenge to this phone is Redmi Note 5 Pro, which starts at Rs 14,999. It is equipped with 18: 9 displays and better hardware. At the same time, the Redmi Note 5 Pro does not have stock Android and it is not as strong as Nokia 6 (2018).
