Asus Zenfone Live has a 5 inch display with 2.5D glass. The phone has a front camera, selfie flash, proximity sensor and metal mesh earpiece above the display. Asus has given capacitive touch buttons instead of the onscreen navigation button. However, the absence of backlit of these buttons is disappointed and it is difficult to use the phone in the dark.

Zenfone Live has volume and power/lock button on the right side and texture finish. Due to separate texture, it is easy to differentiate between these two buttons. On the left side is a hybrid SIM tray that can be used for two nano SIM cards or a nano SIM card and a microSD card.

Asus zenfone live specification
Asus, not giving detailed information about the Zenfone Live processor on his website, has directly mentioned the Qualcomm Snapdragon quad core processor. Most people will estimate Snapdragon 425 or old Snapdragon 410 processor. But Asus has chosen Snapdragon 400. A 2013 processor has been given in a phone launched in 2017. The processor runs on 1.5 GHz and 2 GB RAM is given.

Asus

Zenfone Live has 16 GB of inbuilt storage, out of which only 10 GB is used by user. Storage can be increased to 256 GB via microSD card. The battery is non-removable and is 2650 mAh. Asus, a SIM with the phone, with the phone, in the charger box of a USB cable and a 5.2 watt.

Asus zenfone live camera performance
Zenfone Live has a 15 -megapixel front camera with a selfie flash. There is a 13 -megapixel rear camera with single LED flash. The camera app is easy to use and many mode options are also available.

During our use, the phone has a rapid focus in daylight. While it took some time to focus on the phone while clicking the macro shot. Photos come well and are worthy of sharing on social media.

In low light, the camera takes time to focus and the quality of the photographs is also not good. The camera has an option to switch to low-light mode, which can increase the ISO and reduce the shutter speed. In addition, the result of the picture in this mode is limited to 3 megapixels.

Asus

For video recording, the camera supports a maximum of 1080 pixels. But the camera does not continuously autofocus and for this you have to tap during recording. The video stabilization through the sofier is available but to enable it, the resolution has to be reduced by 720 pixels. Becutation mode is also available while recording the video, but it has very low beautification options. Apart from this, we noticed that there is some problem while recording the video on the beautification mode switch.

The 5 -megapixel selfie camera will help take good pictures in low light with the support of 1.4 micron pixels given in Zenfone Live and a selfie flash. The beautification mode remains on as a default and has many changes to make many changes. It takes time to process photos from the phone when the beautification is enabled. A video recording of up to 720 pixels can be done with a selfie camera. And here too, beautification mode can be used. We found that there is a problem in the device while shooting with this mode. Asus Zenfone Live Performance
When we saw Snapdragon 400 processor in the phone, we were very disappointed. This processor was first given in Moto G (Review). And the same processor was also given in Android Viarabled device. Choosing the old processor is a bit strange and it can be a big mistake.

From the very beginning, it was found that Zenfone Live has an old processor. It takes a long time to load the app and play the game and having 2 GB RAM also does not help. The RAM management of Zenfone Live is so active that repeated apps are reeled. And due to the time taken to load the app frequently, it gets angry.

The old Android Marshmallow has ZenuI skin, but it is easy to use and run the phone like stock Android. Asus has selected a light theme and large icon for instant togle, making it easy to use them. Apps can also be launched from gesture and can turn on and off the display by double tapping on the display. Asus has already installed many apps with Facebook and Instagram, which will not work for everyone.

Asus

We played games like Clash Royal, Breaknakes, Warhememer 40 and Esfalt 8 Airborne in the phone. It took time to load Breakane and Easflt 8 Airborn. While playing Breakne, the phone becomes so slow that we also had difficulty in seeing the notification shed.

All games run in Asus Zenfone Live but the battery ends rapidly. The 2650 AMH battery will not work too much. Asus has assured to give 4G and VoLTE support on both SIM slots in the Zenfone line but one SIM runs at one time while the other is limited to 2G connectivity.

Our decision
Asus Zenfone Live claims that this is the first live beautification mode for social media. While there are some features in the phone, there are many shortcomings. Giving an old processor in Zenfone Live is a big question and the absence of fingerprint sensor is also disappointed.

Asus has introduced a good feature and it will work better with good hardware. It would be fun to see whether this feature comes in another Asus smartphone. The processor in Zenfone Live is the only component that spoils the overall performance of the phone. At a price of Rs 9,999, it is very difficult to advise to buy Zenfone Live, especially when smartphones like Redmi 4 (Review) and Moto G5 offer the best overall package in terms of money.
