The camera of Moto G5s is much better than the Moto G5. The Moto G5S acquires the correct exposure with the help of Faiz Detection Autofocus and remains accurate on most occasions in autofoksing. There was no dearth of details in the out door shot. But highlights sometimes have excessive exposes. Moto G5S works excellent in a macro shot. We were successful in taking many best close up shots, better than Moto G5S Plus. The landscape shot will be considered average. There were some shortcomings in the indoor shot. There were no details in shadows or dark areas. The camera of Moto G5S is weak in low light. There was a lot of noise in our sample shot.
Moto G5S Plus and Moto G5S Performance Moto G5S and Moto G5S Plus are mostly performed. We never felt the need for more power. There was no problem in playing games with powerful graphics on Moto G5S Plus. There is also no complaint with multi -tasking. 5.5 inch display is perfect for watching videos and playing games. The speaker of the Moto G5S Plus gives enough sound to the small room. But the voice on the most volume is not clear. The headset given with Moto G5S Plus is of average quality. You should not keep more expectations than this. The shocking thing is that the voice over LTE support was not available in the handset while reviewing. For this reason, we will be able to make phone calls from Reliance Jio SIM only after using Jio 4 Voice App in the phone.
On the other hand, the Moto G5S is usually cold. It is a little hot only after playing games or watching videos for a long time. The phone is smooth to use and is not slow at all. It has 4G VoLTE and the call quality is fine. Moto G5S is not very effective for multimedia due to reflected screen. We had to tamper with brightness level several times. Loudspeakers cause a very clear voice. Along with this, the quality of the headsade given is very average.
During the review, we also found that both handsets become hot during charging. We do not see this deficiency in every device.
Moto G5s Plus and Moto G5s Battery Life
The Moto G5s and Moto G5S Plus have a 3000 mAh battery. The battery capacity was slightly less, as the big phone has space for big battery. When used, the Moto G5S battery lasted for about 18 hours and the G5S Plus battery for about 14 hours. In our standard HD video loop test, the Moto G5S battery lasted 12 hours 35 minutes and the plus variant battery for 11 hours 15 minutes.
The good thing is that both phones come with turbopower adapter. The Moto G5S battery is charged 100 percent in about 60-70 minutes, while the Moto G5S Plus takes a little more time.
