Photos taken from Redmi Note 5 during the day and low light were good. There was no shortage of details in the landscape shot taken in daylight. Exposure was also correct on most occasions. The camera focuses fast. It is helpful for macrose shot. Macrose shots were better than our expectation. The dark parts came with more details in the pictures taken after turning on HDR mode. But the light parts looked burnt out.
The camera automatically goes into night mode in low light. The landscape shot was low in noise. The Redmi Note 5 performed well even after taking a picture from a fixed distance. Macrose shot requires stable hands, but the output is commendable.
The Redmi Note 5 has a defused selfie flash, which is helpful in low light. The app also has beauty mode, which automatically edits the shot. Selfies are some granney, but are worth using on social media. It is possible to record videos with maximum 4 of 4 of the rear camera, while the front camera with 1080 pixels resolution. Stabilization mode is not given, it is not a disappointing thing given the price.
