Honor 10 Light is the company’s first smartphone that comes with an out of box Android Pie. It has EMUI 9.0.1, with the security patch of November. Overall UI is similar to the old version of EMUI. Honor 10 Lite Performance, Battery Life and Camera
The Kirin 710 processor handles the day-to-day task very easily. Our user experience was very smooth with the 4 GB RAM variants given for the review. There was no complaint of slowing the phone even during multitasking.
During the use we found that the fingerprint was slightly slow in unlocking the phone. It also has face unlock which uses selfie camera. Face recognition was faster and it was successful in unlocking the phone under most circumstances.
In our benchmark Test, Kirin 710 gave more than Snapdragon 660 better results in the CPU benchmark, but lagged behind the GPU Test.
The pubg mobile game ran on medium settings on Honor 10 Lite. We found that after playing this game for about 36 minutes, the battery was reduced by 11 percent.
In our HD video loop test, the 3400 mAh battery of Honor 10 Lite lasted for 11 hours 20 minutes. We were active on WhatsApp in common use, played games for about an hour, used Google Maps for 50 minutes and also watched some YouTube videos, about 46 percent of the battery remained 24 hours later. Honor does not give a fast charger in the retail box. The 10 watt charger with it slows down the phone.
Honor 10 Lite has a dual camera setup on the back. The primary sensor is 13 megapixels and is accompanied by a 2 megapixel depth sensor. You will get a 24 -megapixel camera for selfie. The camera software is similar to other smartphones of Honor. The company says that both camera setups are equipped with AI.

Apart from common photos and video modes, modes like aperture, night, portrait, Panorama, Pro and Time-Laps will be available. HDR is found as a separate mode, not with a quick togle. The Hivaei Mate 20 Pro is also a Hivision feature available. But its features are limited.
Honor 10 Lite focuses quickly and also corrects the identity of the scene. When AI mode is enabled, the smartphone makes the correct detection. In this mode, the output came very much. The sky on the phone’s display looks more blue and grass, but they look artificial.
Pictures without AI came better on some occasions, especially in macrose shot. Honor 10 Lite in landscape shot was not successful in captivating the detailed details of the distant object. Honor 10 Lite did not give good output in portrait mode. Edge detection was not accurate. On some occasions, the phone did not fully blur the background. In low light, the performance was also weak than average. If AI is enabled, the phone’s night mode automatically becomes active, which keeps the shutter open for a long time. There was no noise in the pictures taken at night, but the output granny came and there was also a lack of details.
The beautification mode in the selfie camera is already active, which makes the pictures smooth. If you want, you can switch off it or decide the level of beautification. It also has Bokeh mode from which you can blur background.

Kirin 710 is a very powerful processor that strongly challenges the popular Snapdragon 660 processor of this segment. But in terms of camera, the claim of Honor 10 Lite becomes a bit weak.
