Vivo is a big smartphone brand in India and after creating its hold in the offline market, now the company is focusing in the online market. Vivo has recently launched its latest smartphone Vivo Z1 Pro in India which will be sold only on the e-commerce site Flipkart. This new and latest smartphone of Vivo is specially designed for Zen Z customers who also want the latest features with a good look in the phone. Vivo Z1 Pro is equipped with good camera, battery life and good processing power for gaming.

It seems that Vivo has studied the current market trend well to design Vivo Z1 Pro. Is this Vivo brand smartphone Xiaomi, Realme And Samsung Will be able to compete with the phone, it will be a matter of view. Today we will review Vivo Z1 Pro and it will also be seen whether Vivo Z1 Pro can make its place in the list of best smartphones found for our next 20,000 rupees.

Design of Vivo Z1 Pro

The first thing that you will notice on the front panel of Vivo Z1 Pro is its oversized screen. The screen has a hole to the left in which the front camera has found a place. The camera hole is not very big nor does it distract your attention while using the phone throughout the day. Our Vivo Z1 Pro Review Unit sent by Vivo had a screen protector. Even after using the phone, the plastic film gets scars.
The Vivo Z1 Pro has an attractive glossy plastic rear panel that comes with multi-caller gradient finish. Our review unit color is Sonic Blue and on its back panel is Emerald Green which is found with Cobblet Blue. Colors are saturated, as well as when lights fall on its back panel, the effect is seen.

The design of the front and back panel of the Vivo Z1 Pro attracts attention. Not only this, you will also get a fingerprint sensor for security on the back panel of the phone. Power and volume button will get SIM and microSD card trays on the left side of the phone. Just below this, Google Assistant button is given.

The Vivo Z1 Pro has two Nano-SIM slots and a separate microSD card slot. The Google Assistant button cannot be assigned for other functions. We were disappointed that Vivo is still giving a micro-USB port in its latest smartphones such as Vivo Z1 Pro. There is also a 3.5 mm headphone jack and speaker grill at the bottom of the phone.

Vivo Z1 Pro is seen in a copy of Vivo Y17 which is equipped with equal dimensions and styling. The weight of Vivo Z1 Pro weighs slightly more than 201 grams but its thickness is 8.85 millimeters. In the retail box you get a flexible plastic case, 18 watt heavy charger, a micro-USB cable, 3.5 mm wired headset, SIM Eject PIN and some prescription.

Vivo z1 pro specification and software

Vivo Z1 Pro is the first such phone in India to be equipped with Qualcomm Snapdragon 712 processor. The initial price of Vivo Z1 Pro is Rs 14,990. This price will get 4 GB RAM and 64 GB storage variants.

This phone of the Vivo brand has used the company’s own dual-inzon fast charging technology. Apart from all normal sensors, the Vivo Z1 Pro also includes gyroscope and e-compass.

Vivo’s phones run on Funtch OS which are very heavy modified for Android 9. The main feature of Funtch OS is game enhancement which Vivo has named game mode but has also been called game cube and game box at different places in UI. This includes special optimization for pubji mobile.

Apart from this, there is 4D vibration as well as you will be able to enjoy 3D surround sound. The Vivo Z1 Pro has a countdown feature, with the help of which you will be able to make other things till your next round. The Vivo Z1 Pro has an asports mode that will shut down all the apps running in the background, as well as to block the notification and increase the performance to dispose of the temperature throttle. According to Vivo, more features will be added to Vivo Z1 Pro by future updates including voice chat filters.

Vivo Z1 Pro performance, battery life and camera

Due to increasing competition, one thing has been good that smartphones are being launched at low prices, this is the reason that today they have enough power to use the budget smartphone every day. While using Vivo Z1 Pro, the phone did not slow down. After heavy modification, no performance problem was seen in Funtch OS.

We have 6 GB RAM and 64 GB storage variants of Vivo Z1 Pro for review. The display of Vivo Z1 Pro is very sharp and clear under all circumstances. The viewing angles of the phone are also good but we feel that some people will find that colors are not the vivids as the amoled panels are on the phone.

You can adjust the color temperature and also have a system-wide dark mode, although not all third-party apps get its identity cups. The status bar given in the upper part of the screen is quite thicker which surrounds the front camera hole while using the Funtch OS UI and the apps that do not come on full-screen.

On watching the video on Vivo Z1 Pro, we found it a little distracted. Quick Diagnostic revealed that the phone only supports Widevine L3 DRM, which means you will not be able to stream HD content on Netflix. The single speaker given at the bottom of the phone makes the sound quite loud, but it starts getting distorted in a loud voice.

The headset that comes with the phone sounds like Apple earpods but the voice is only fine for the call. On paper, Snapdragon 712 processor Vivo Z1 gives Slight Aase to Pro and at this price it can be attractive to customers who need the latest specification at this price. But it is difficult to tell at the moment how much difference is there on using everyday.

If the Reality 3 Pro (Review) and Oppo R17 Pro (Review) are paid, both smartphones have used Snapdragon 710 processor. The CPU-Havi benchmark score is largely high while the GPU-centric Test has improved slightly. The camera dot does not interfere during a full-screen gaming as it was almost always covered by our thumb.

PUBG Mobile and Asphalt 9: Both of Legends were smooth on high settings. For the information of people, let us know that the phone was only a little hot. The battery life of Vivo Z1 Pro was also very good. We were able to use Vivo Z1 Pro for more than one and a half days and this includes us using 4G data, streaming some videos, taking a lot of photos and playing games for about an hour.

In our HD video loop test, Vivo Z1 Pro supported 18 hours and 32 minutes. The upcoming 18 Watt charger of Vivo Z1 Pro is very fast and we were surprised to see the Vivo dual engine fast charging with the Thirt Party Charger. However, this phone gets hot when the phone is rapidly charged.

Vivo Z1 Pro is equipped with three rear cameras. The rear is a 16 -megapixel primary sensor with f/ 1.78 lens, 8 megapixel secondary sensor with 120 degree super wide angle lens and third 2 megapixel sensor. There is a 32 -megapixel sensor for selfie fans. Its aperture is F/ 2.0.

Camera features like AI filter, backlight HDR, portrait bokeh, portrait light effects, AI stickers, AI beauty and live photo are part of this phone. If you talk about Vivo’s camera app UI, then the button to switch between primary and wide-angle camera is small. Apart from this, a separate button has been given instead of giving portate mode for depth effect.

In video mode, options such as slow-motion and time laps are hidden in menu. We were greatly influenced by pictures taken from Vivo Z1 Pro. Colors came well in the pictures and details in the focus area were also well captured. Most cases of natural and ortificial texture look good. Wide-angle shots with secondary rear camera were very low crisp and looked over-processed. There was also a slight shape on the edges of the frame.

After enabling the depth effect, we were able to take some good pictures with a smooth background blur, although the edge detection was not perfect at all times. You can adjust the blur’s level even after going to the album app of Vivo. The night pictures were also good. Noys was also under control and colors were also properly captured. But as expected, there was some blur in the picture with the moving object.

Let us know that the boy default video is recorded on 1280×720 and some grains are seen on this resolution. You can shoot videos ranging from 30fps to 4K with Vivo Z1 Pro. Vivo has not said anything about video stabilization in the phone’s specification sheet. While shooting the video, you cannot switch between the standard and wide-angle lens. Photos taken from the front camera were also good. You will not get the depth effect or portate mode but you can apply for lighting effects which are somewhat like a sublime filter.

Our decision

Overall, Vivo has done a great job with its latest Z1 Pro. When we reviewed Vivo Y17 some time ago, we said that according to the price it seemed to be an excellent. This phone has almost every feature that is needed while using throughout the day. Its sailing point is that Vivo Z1 Pro is equipped with a hole-pan-pan-pan-pan-pan-pan-a selfie camera and three rear cameras at a price of less than Rs 20,000.

Vivo has given good specifications in view of competition in the smartphone and we did not feel that there was any feature in the phone that other handset company is providing. Vivo Z1 Pro is a strong all -rounder and certainly this smartphone can be considered if you Xiaomi Redmi Note 7 Pro ,Review, Samsung Galaxy M40 ,Review, Galaxy A50 ,Review) Or Realme 3 Pro If you are thinking of buying any of them. However, Vivo Z1 Pro has scored quite well in performance and battery life and is equipped with large displays and modern punch-hole cameras.
