The budget smartphones worth less than 10 thousand rupees offer better value for money in terms of hardware. In these smartphones, there is little glitter or premium design. In this, the company tries to give good battery life along with giving good user experience. However, Reality has tried to do something new in its C-series. The new Realme C35 has a premium look and finish, which makes it stand out from the rest in this segment. The company managed to fit a 5,000mAh battery in its slim body. The phone is quite good to see, but is it equally good in performance? Let’s find out in this review.

Realme c35 price in India

Realme c35 Comes into two variants. The base variant has 4GB RAM and 64GB storage and is priced at Rs 11,999 in India. Its 128GB storage variants cost Rs 12,999. Both variants are available in two finish-glowing black and glowing green. I found a base variant in Glowing Green for this review.

Realme C35 Design

Realme C35 gives a much fresh feel compared to the smartphones that have come before the C-series. Even though this phone is also made of polycarbonate like the rest of the series models, but still feels premium. Keeping in mind the current ongoing design trend, the company has used a mat frame in it, which has side and edge flats. The rear panel is also flat but glossy is in finish.

Realme

The camera module on the rear panel is out of the body but I was surprised that its phone did not move from its place in the flat place. In a light green shade color, the phone’s polycarbonate attracts the finish of the body, but the fingerprints start appearing very quickly. Its sharp look shows the phone modern but is not so comfortable in holding, because the edges of the phone look quite sharp.

The power button is given in the right side of the phone on which fingerprint scanner is also present. Many times it was finding it difficult to identify it because it seems like a fit in the frame.

Realme

This phone of Reality has a 6.6 -inch FullHD Plus LCD panel that comes with a standard refresh rate of 60Hz. The phone has a dudrop notch. It does not eat while watching the content, but feels a little old. There are thin bezels around the display but bottom chin is thick. The bottom of the phone also has a 3.5mm headphone jack. It is also provided with primary mike, USB Type-C port and speaker.

Realme C35 Specifications and Software

Realme C35 has a UNISOC T616 processor with a maximum clock speed of 2 GHz. Two Nano SIMs can be used in the phone and a deedicated microSD card slot is also available in the SIM tray. It can increase storage up to 1TB. For connectivity, this phone has a 4G/LTE band, dual-band Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 5 and satellite navigation system.

Realme

Talking about the operating system of the phone, it is based on Android 11. It runs on Realme UI R Edition which is a light version of regular Realme UI. For smooth performance, some customization options have been reduced by reducing. The phone also contains many pregnant apps which can be removed later.

Realme c35 performance and battery life

The overall experience of the phone was not very special because it seemed as if the hardware is not fully successful in supporting its software. While scrolling between the list and the apps, the lag was suddenly seen. Overall, the phone performed like an entry level smartphone instead of its price level.

It performed as expected in the benchmark test. The phone scored 2,12,939 points on AnuTu. In Geekbench’s single-core test, the phone scored 368 points and 1382 points in multi-core test.

Realme

The display of Realme C35 gives saturated colors in default settings. But the results were much better when converting Vivid into gentle mode. The panel is FullHD plus LCD and bright appears in outdoor or direct sunlight.

Gaming Experience was not very good in this phone. The processor could not play any game smoothly. Ordinary games like subway surfers and Temple Run 2 etc. were also running with light legs. Call of Duty: Mobile was also very stuck on the lowest settings.

Realme

The phone’s 5,000mAh battery lasted 10 hours 56 minutes in our HD video loop test. It is less than average according to the budget device. In regular use, the phone could run slightly more than a day. This will also be said to be less than average. The phone took 2 hours and 7 minutes for the full charge from the 18W fast charger.

Realme c35 cameras

Realme C35 has three cameras in the rear panel. Which has a 50 -megapixel main lens, a 2 -megapixel macro shooter and a 2 -megapixel black and white camera. The phone for selfie is equipped with 8 megapixel camera. The features of the camera app have been reduced somewhat. The icon has been removed to quickly change the settings in the viewfinder.

The camera captures good photos in daylight. The dynamic range of the primary camera is quite good but the details were found very little even in daylight. The HDR system was taking a lot of aggressive photos many times, which made the sky look very blue. Macro shots appeared with overseas.

Realme

You will only get portrait mode in the rear camera. Edge detections were quite good but the background over was exposed. Potaret mode worked only on humans and did not work on things for any reason.

The image quality in low-light decreased significantly. In low light, the camera was seen struggling to focus and the photo looked quite soft. Contrast in night mode became a bit better but the photos became very soft and blurred. Overall, there was disappointment in night photography.

Realme C35 smartphone can record up to 1080p videos on 30fps. The video quality was average in daylight. The footage looked quite a shakie, that is, there was no stabilization. A lot of nois (grains) was seen in the video in low-light. The camera was also having trouble focusing, especially while doing pan, the focus was deteriorating.

Verdict

There is no dearth of options in the lower line of budget smartphones nowadays. Reality has many phones in this segment. The price of many of them is around it. Realme C35 is defeated due to its average battery life and less than average camera performance. Only its design in the phone is going to attract the user.

If you talk in its options, then you Realme Narzo 50 Can see which starts at Rs 12,999. It has MediaTek processor, 120Hz display, high resolution selfie camera and 33W charging. We have not yet reviewed it, but even if we look at the specification, it looks better than the Reality C35.

Also you Micromax in 2B Can see It gives smooth software experience. Now Moto G31 is also available at a price of Rs 11,999. This phone gives an experience like stock Android. It has an AMOLED display and has a water rasent design. All these options prove to be better than Realme C35, so it becomes very difficult to suggest this phone of Reality.
