If you double the RAM and take 16GB variants, then the price is Rs 44,990. Its top variant comes with Core i7 CPU, 16GB RAM and 512GB SSD which costs Rs 49,990.

The laptop is available on Flipkart and has been launched in 4 colors- neutral starfall gray, noble red, cosmic blue and aurora Green.
Design of Infinix Inbook X1
Although it is a basic budget laptop, the company has tried to add some design elements to it. Lid and bottom are made of aluminum. The inbook X1 has a bright brushing texture on the upper -third of the lid while the rest is in sandblast and matte finish. A small infinix logo has been given on the side.
My blue color unit was given a dark interior, which was not deviating meditation at all while working. The lower half is plastic and also the frame around the screen. But nothing seems cheap to see or feel. Hinj seems to be quite reliable and the screen does not affect the screen even if the lid is turned. The keyboard flax is simple but the trackpad gives quite plastic feel and its mechanism is quite hard and sound. You cannot compare it with laptops such as modern look and thin borders but it will not disappoint you in terms of build quality at this price point.
The weight of the device and the thickness of 14.8mm completes its name with its name Inbook X1 Slim. It is very portable everyday for students and office workers. Together you also find a small 65W USB Type-C charger in the box which is quite convenient.

A unique feature that the company has given in it is dual star LED flash light. These are two LEDs that are on the screen on the webcam. You can togle them by pressing Win+Space. We will learn further in the review. But keep in mind, on the basis of which angle the screen is set, their light can also be directly in the eyes.
The power button seems as if it has a fingerprint scanner, but it is not so. You get a traditional keyboard in which nothing is given separately. Arrow clusters are very compact but dedicated paging is also given in the right side. In this price I did not expect backlit keys, but this is a great feature and you can also choose from two levels for brightness. The trackpad is quite large but is given in the center of the laptop’s body instead of standard typing positions. I also noticed that rejections for the palm do not do much special work in it, as I am in a habit with another laptop.
In the left you get HDMI 1.4 video output, a USB 3.0 type A port and a USB Type C port also supports charging and also video output. Wright has a security lock slot, the second is USB Type A port, a 3.5mm audio socket, a data onle type C port and a microSD card slot.

Infinix Inbook X1 Slim’s Specifications
Being a budget laptop, some agreements will have to be made. The interesting thing is that the company has installed Intel 10th Gen Ice Lake CPU in all variants. They have been three years old but are still good in working. After a few years, you may feel helpless in their case.
My review unit gets Core i5-1035G1 CPU with four core and one 15W nominal TDP rating. It runs between 1GHz and 3.6GHz. But the G1 Designation states that Intel UHD graphic capacity is weak.
Its 14 inch display has a fullHD 1920×1080 pixels resolution and a non -reflex surface is given, which is very good for working. The company has spoken of having 300 Nits Peak Brightness and 100 percent SRGB color gamet coverage in it. The device has LPDDR4X RAM which means that it has a soldering and cannot be upgraded. The company says that the PCIE 3.0 SSD has been used in the lineup.
The laptop has a 50Wh battery for which the company has said that it can run throughout the day. It can be seen by 11 hours of web browsing, 9 -hour video playback. Infinix has said that the battery can be fully charged in 90 minutes. The laptop comes with Windows 11 Home and has no preloaded third party software. It was a good thing that it can be started without linking to Microsoft account. In the Start menu I saw a popup advertisement from Microsoft and shortcuts for the dowload of Microsoft Store.

Infinix Inbook X1 Slim Performance
Its processors may have become old according to the time, but Inbook X1 Slim perform well in everyday work. In regular use, it is responded, even though many tabs have been opened together, which is very common in today’s normal usage. You can communicate, work with productivity apps, stream video and even play some light games in it. The keyboard can be typing for a long time but the trackpad comes in the middle several times and you like to tap rather than clicking.
Its 14 inch display is not very bright or vibrant but it will only feel you while watching the video. This is fine to write the work. The company has given a quad speaker system in it with the support of DTS Audio. However, I found the sound quality very weak. The music was heard as very thin and hollow but the voice was easily understood.
In heavy tests, you will know that you cannot expect too much in serious content creation or modern games. It scored 3,621 and 2,847 in PCMark 10’s standard and extended runs. Whereas in Cinebench R20, its singlecore and multicor score were 393 and 1,171 respectively. These scores are good for a laptop at this price point. It came here in 2020 expensive Mi Notebook 14 Compare with these scores come equal to it.

One thing in the Inbook X1 Slim, especially weak, is its SSD. It was very slow to transfer the file which was an average of 32Mbps. Crystaldiskmark’s report consisted of sequential reeds and rights 2,377.1Mbps and 1,953Mbps respectively. At the same time, random reeds and rights were 799.7Mbps and 950.4Mbps respectively. The company says that it has NVME PCIE 3.0 SSD but the model is not detected in diagnostic. Handbrake took 1 minute and 51 second time to transcode the 1.3GB AVI file in H.265. 7Zip took 4 minutes 25 seconds to compress the folder of 3.24GB.
Graphics performance is not very bad, if you do not expect too much. You could not even run a few old games such as Shadow of the Tomb Raider on this laptop, it was only 14fps on 1280×720, while the quality was set on lowest graphics. 3DMark’s time spy and night raid scene scores were 547 and 7,186 respectively. However, the casual games run well in it. Bloons TD 6 is a simple but interesting defense game that ran a lot of smooth.
In a single charge, I was able to use this laptop for 8-9 hours in ordinary works and web surfing. It came out less than the company’s estimate but is still fine. The laptop performed well in the heavy battery eater pro test and it lasted for 2 hours 54 minutes. LED webcam flash and heavy graphics work will obviously be finished quickly. It was charged in 0 to 45 percent in 30 minutes and 78 percent charge within an hour. USB type C charging is quite convenient but works with the left port.
You might be wondering if the LED flash is only a drama. So let me tell you that the webcam is not so good. The image comes out. Yes, but when my face was in some shade, it definitely helped, but there is no improvement in quality. If you want to look professional in video calls, then you will not only need a proper ring light but a proper USB webcam.

When loaded on the laptop, you will also listen to the voice of its cooling fan and many times I was hearing this simple work. While playing the game, the left part of the keyboard was also getting warm.
Our decision
Nowadays it is very difficult to avoid inflation and every rupee saved becomes important. The company has given all the basic features in it that a student, home user or professional needs. It is quite affordable and has not been compromised with build quality, missing features or weak performance for usage Experience. It neither goes down nor up from the basics. It may be that it is not useful for a long time, but the price also matters a lot to the users.
Its entry level variant comes for Rs 29,990 which is good for the needs of the average user. RAM cannot be upgraded but 8GB should be quite. Middle variant, which is reviewed here, gives good value for money for Rs 39,990. The top variant comes for Rs 49,999, which will be purchased only by people of special category. If you do not want more powerful or entertaining devices, then you may like it as a balanced device.
I did not like the LED of its webcam, but its backlit keyboard, fast charging and two USB Type C port, non -reflective screens make it quite special. If you want something cheaper than this, then the company has also brought a very simple Inbook X1 NEO, which costs Rs 24,990. It has a slightly light Intel Celeron CPU but the features are very similar.
